| How
do you package your videos for shipping? Will anyone be able to
tell what it is? |
| Packaging is plain and shows the return address
as "TNM Communications." There is no indication of the
contents for US orders on the outside of the package. For international
orders we are required to state the contents (we usually say "Magnetic
media" or "Video cassettes") for customs purposes.
|
| What
name shows up on my credit card when I order with you? |
| All transactions are processed with the name "TNM
Communications." |
| What
is NTSC and PAL format? Which do I order? |
| In North America and Japan, the standard format
for VHS tapes is NTSC. However, if you are ordering from outside
of North America, you should know the tape format of your VCR. The
PAL format is used in Europe, Africa, and most of Asia. If you are
not sure about which format you use, please e-mail us and we will
help you decide. If you order the wrong video format, you will be
charged for re-shipping your videos in the correct format! |
| How
long will it take my order to get to me? |
| Delivery time within the US is usually 2 to 3 days,
so you can expect your order within 1 week from the time we receive
it. We use US Priority Mail for domestic delivery.
Outside the US, delivery times vary from a few days to a few weeks.
Customers in Mexico should let us use Fed Ex for shipping because
orders often do not ever arrive otherwise. If you live in a country
where there are mail delivery problems, you should consider this
option as well. Contact us: tnv at tnvideo.com for a price
quote. |
| Do
you make custom videos? |
| Yes. We're open to most ideas, especially if they're along the
lines of the videos we've already produced. In general, we won't
do anything too nasty (e.g., no pissing/shitting, no male-female
or hard-core sex). All videos must be legal, with models of legal
age. Email: Video@TNVideo.com |
| Does TNV
sell DVD's? |
| Yes, we are starting to produce our best-selling videos
in DVD format. You can find the currently available titles under
our On DVD category, and expect more
to come! |
| What
is the difference between DVD, DVD-R and DVD+R format? |
| DVD stands for Digital Versatile/Video Disc, DVDR stands for DVD
Recordable and DVDRW for DVD ReWriteable. If you're familiar with
regular audio/music CDs or regular DVD-Video discs, then you will
know what a recordable DVD looks like. A recordable DVD stores up
to 2 hours of very good quality DVD-Video, including several audio
tracks in formats like stereo, Dolby Digital or DTS and also advanced
menu systems, subtitles and still pictures that can be played by
many standalone DVD Players and most computer DVD-ROMs.
There are three competing DVD Recording standards, DVD-R/DVD-RW
and DVD+R/DVD+RW have pretty similiar features and are compatible
with many standalone DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs while DVD-RAM
has less DVD Player and DVD-ROM compatibility but better recording
features. We use the highest grade DVD-R and DVD+R DL discs. Here's
some general info on each.
DVD-R
DVD-R was the first DVD recording format released that was compatible with
standalone DVD Players. DVD-R is a non-rewriteable format and it is compatible
with about 93% of DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs.
DVD+R DL
DVD+R DL or called DVD+R9 is a Dual Layer writeable DVD+R that is also compatible
with most newer players. DVD+R DL is a non-rewriteable format and it is compatible
with about 71% of DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs.
